Nightsongs and Daydreams

Just one of many struggling writers trying to break into the business without selling my soul ... though, for the right price ... Nah, forget it. I'm pretty much your average fangirl, crazy about yaoi (hot guy + hot guy = delish!), and basically into the sort of things that would make my parents cringe. And maybe even some of my friends. Living in the midwest is tough if you've got a mind of your own and 'eccentric' tastes. I have a wandering attention span and a truly spastic nature, so anything I post here will probably be one meaningless ramble, unless it's in the form of a story. I am addicted to fanfiction - both reading it and writing it - and can only hope and pray for the day when a book of mine becomes fodder for fanfiction writers everywhere! *gets all teary-eyed* Then I'll know I've truly made it ... everyone knows the true test of a book's popularity is if someone's writing a fanfic about it. *grin*

The bare facts about me are pretty dull: blonde-haired, blue-eyed, never gonna be a size 2 (hell, I'd settle for size 12), odd sense of humor, cries during movies ALL THE TIME, went to college and got the most useless degree of all (BA in English - but 5.0 baby! Summa cum laude!), currently work at a bookstore (which is like an alcoholic working at a liquor store), and that's as far as I'll dish without getting a little somethin' in return *wink wink*

Err, just kidding. But seriously, there's not a lot to tell.
